Wonyul Lee wins 2012 ASA SLDM Student Paper Competition

Wonyul Lee has been selected as a winner in the student paper competition sponsored by the Statistical Learning and Data Mining (SLDM) Section of the American Statistical Association (ASA).  As an award winner, he will be sponsored to present the winning paper at a topic contributed session at the 2012 Joint Statistical Meetings at San Diego, CA.  The paper is based on a joint work with his advisor Prof. Yufeng Liu, as well as Prof. Wei Sun at UNC Biostatistics, Prof. Neil Hayes and Dr. Ying Du at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
