Yufeng Liu receives a 5-year NIH R01 grant as PI to study statistical machine learning
Prof. Yufeng Liu was recently awarded a 5-year NIH R01 grant as PI from NCI. This grant, entitled "Flexible statistical machine learning techniques for cancer-related data", will support him and his collaborators on the development of modern statistical learning techniques for cancer research. The project duration is five years with a starting date of Feburary 1, 2010 and a total budget of 1.5 million dollars.
