Shankar Bhamidi receives a UNC Arts and Sciences grant on interdisciplinary research

Prof. Shankar Bhamidi is awarded a UNC Arts and Sciences grant jointly with Professors Peter Mucha (Math), Justin Gross (Political Science) and John Scott (Public Policy). This grant will support the team's research on an interdisciplinary approach to computational politics and policy. The team aims to develop innovative, computational methods in order to address enduring and emerging questions of political influence, democratic participation, and civic community, integrating new approaches of analysis from network science in understanding data from rapidly evolving real world networks such as political blogs.
