Ross Leadbetter awarded 2011 IMS Carver Medal
The 2011 IMS Carver Medal is awarded to Professor Ross Leadbetter for his contributions to the success of the 1994 Third World Congress at North Carolina, for his service on the IMS Council, and for his editorial work. Professor Leadbetter will be presented with the medal at the IMS Presidential Address and Awards Ceremony at JSM in Miami on Monday, August 1, 8:00pm.
The Carver Medal is created by the IMS in honor of Harry C. Carver, Founding Editor of the Annals of Mathematical Statistics and one of the founders of the IMS. The medal is for exceptional service specifically to the IMS.
