Haipeng Shen receives an NSF grant to study principal component analysis and its regularizations
Prof. Haipeng Shen was recently awarded an NSF DMS grant as the sole PI. The grant (DMS-1106912) will support him and his students to perform research related to principal component analysis and its various regularizations. The three-year grant starts from August 15, 2011 and has a total budget of $250,000.
