Cluster Computing for Researchers

The use of computing clusters is often essential for method development in Statistics and Operations Research. Today's talk will introduce the dierent computing options to UNC students and faculty. Topics will be general and include the essential functions and techniques to effectively use the computing clusters here at UNC. The information covered will be of use to people in all stages of research; from rst years who will soon be starting research, to fth years who are about to move on to other places, the general topics discussed will be relevant to your future computing.
